Linking Together for Veterans Futures
A donation program to help America's heroes enter the workforce

The National Cristina Foundation is pleased to announce the launching of a new initiative in alliance with CompTIA, the Computing Technology Industry Association, and the Arts for Soldiers Foundation.
This program is directing donations of refurbished computers from corporations and the public to non profit organizations and public agencies that support IT training and career development for veterans with disabilities and other special needs. Many veterans with disabilities or who are recovering from injuries are unemployed.
The veterans who will be the recipients are those who need access to computers in order to find new options that assist them with essential life skills or for IT training for employment.
Many veterans do not have sufficient access to computers to use for communication, to assist them with acquiring basic skills, or for them to acquire the opportunity for more advanced training through IT certification.
IT certifications are often needed to demonstrate to employers how skills and knowledge gained in the military translate to the corporate sector. CompTIA's IT certifications are recognized by many employers while providing individuals with broad based knowledge and prepares them to support today's technologies.
CompTIA's Educational Foundation was created to provide transitioning U.S. veterans, individuals with disabilities, youth at risk and dislocated workers with the opportunity to obtain employable skills to achieve rewarding careers in the IT industry. The Art For Soldiers Foundation is a nonprofit organization that implements creative and educational programs designed to improve the lives of American warriors and forwards to them art, letters and poetry from civilians to express recognition of their service.
We urge corporations and the public to join us in this important effort
Donate computers to veterans to enable them to access a range of new IT options for greater independence and skills development.
