Computers for Classrooms in Chico, California refurbishes computers and distributes them to schools, charities and low-income families.  They also provide training for people who want to learn how to refurbish computers.  Their efforts were recently the subject of a TV news story that highlights both the environmental benefits of computer reuse and the benefits to those who receive the refurbished equipment.
