The Fort Worth Hope Center is committed to helping people break free from poverty.
Although their primary mission is feeding the hungry, they also work to provide training and job skills. They have been a National Cristina Foundation partner since 2005. They recently told us about the expansion of their computer training program.

From their letter
We have just opened our “School of HOPE”, a computer school to which the National Cristina Foundation provided many computers. We work with Texas Workforce in "prevocational" training. We offer GED, Keyboard 101 and Microsoft Office.
We work in a very impoverished community in East Fort Worth, and we have a high rate of high school drop outs. Any additional donated computers we get will be used to provide a computer for our graduates so they can have one at home.
We believe having a computer in the home will help the parents be more involved with their youth and the youth will also be able to use the computer to keep up with their assignments etc.
Thank you so much for helping The HOPE Center complete this wonderful dream and open our school. I've enclosed these photos that were taken of the students in the classroom last week.
Bless you in all that you did to help us and the families in our community. Sincerely,
JoAnn Reyes, President
