The National Cristina Foundation works with a number of PAL groups around the country. Originally known as Police Athletic Leagues, many have now expanded the programs the offer to include a wide range of projects, and our now known as Police Activities Leagues.
One such group is the Montgomery County Sheriff Police Activities League, which reaches out to youth in the Dayton, Ohio area. They offer free programs to the public, and also to inmates at the Montgomery County Jail. Cynthia Davidson their president writes.....

From her letter:
The computers we have received from the National Cristina Foundation through area donors have benefited us in a couple of different ways.
We have met some of the nicest donors. When they were told just how their computers are being used they are so excited and happy to help make a difference in someone's life.
Our computers at first were used to help after-school programs for children in our area who needed a computer for after school study. This program was held at an old fire station.
At this time the computers are also being used in the Montgomery County Jail as part of a GED program for inmates. This is really helping them use their time to better themselves and hopefully give them a better direction when they leave. I am grateful for the Christina Foundation.
At this time these computers have in one way or another helped over 300 people. This could not have been done without the foundation.
