From their letter:
The Obesity Prevention Center for Youth and Children (www.OPCCY.ORG) has been most fortunate in it's partnership with the National Cristina Foundation.
I am pleased to announce that this partnership has had tremendous impact on the lives of the children and youths we serve. With a total of 12 computer systems and monitors received as donations, OPCCY was fortunate to establish a computer center which allowed our programs to broaden services and open its door for an afterschool program.
Students will now be able to gain computer skills, complete homework and have online access for research on programs relative to health and obesity.
The Obesity Prevention Center for Children and Youth was recently visited by Honorable James Harrington, the Mayor of the City of Brockton who voiced how impressed he truly was and gave many thanks for the good work and developments achieved in such a short time.
On behalf of our organization I thank you and we look forward to continue working with the National Cristina Foundation in the upcoming years.
Best regards,
Marnite Dolne, President
