Donation Requirements
Our website makes it easy for anyone to donate computers and other technology equipment. When you donate a computer to the National Cristina Foundation, it's important that it meet minimum specifications to ensure that it can be used effectively by one of our pre-screened non-profit partners. Basic PC donation requirements are listed below. For Macintosh donations, click the "Mac Requirements" link on the right.
- Pentium III & Higher CPUs (486 and Pentium I and II no longer accepted). Alternative CPUs accepted if Pentium III equivalent or better.
- If your computer donation includes a complete system (Hard Drive, Monitor, Keyboard, & Mouse), use the "PC Desktop" or "Mac Desktop" category on the donation screens that follow. If not, please use the "Partial CPU" checkbox.
- If possible, please include Software License Agreements for installed computer software.
- Hardware needing repair is considered on a case-by-case basis where National Cristina Foundation partner organizations have repair capabilities.
For more details, select the item type you plan on donating below to see its requirements...
