I heard about the NCF donation program from the Dell website. I had recently ordered a new computer from Dell and had no real use for my old computer, so I decided to donate it. I heard back from NCF very promptly, within a week, and my computer was ,picked up from my home in no time. Overall, the donation process was extremely easy and I recommend using NCF to anyone who wants to find a good home for their old computer.

I've always enjoyed helping the local community that I live in. Being in the computer business, I understand the need for them in everyday life. My old but serviceable Compaq desktop computer was just gathering dust, but now it is helping a disadvantaged student to learn, which is just great. Donating through the Dell link was a snap. They came on time to pick it up at my house and were very polite and friendly.

I did not just want to throw away a working computer. Few places take individual systems. National Cristina is one of those that will place a single system. The donation process was simple and easy. Enter information on the web page, phone call to arrange pick up, finished. I spent more time wiping the hard disk preparing the system for donation than in the donation process.
