The
National Cristina Foundation is proud to let you know that within
the next few months (date to be announced), we will be featured
on a half hour segment of Voices of Vision, a new television documentary
series debuting on the Public Broadcasting System (PBS) of over
300 stations. This network covers 98% of the United States, reaching
99 million households.

Voices of Vision is a new television documentary
series that profiles institutions and organizations that help shape
the world we share. It is created by the Teaching Learning Network
(TLN) which has produced award-winning educational programs for
over ten years for public broadcast and cable television including,
Discover America (a nationally aired travel series), Kid's Café,
and Trailside: Make Your Own Adventure.
TLN has created Voices of Vision to profile institutions
and organizations that are making a difference. Exploring the many
ways that people and institutions have shaped society, each episode
takes an in-depth look at organizations that have made an impact:
the challenges faced, the accomplishments and the opportunities
that lie ahead.
Scott Simon (Host of Weekend Edition on National
Public Radio (NPR)) is its prestigious host. Scott's reports from
around the world have won every major honor in broadcasting, including
the Emmy and Peabody Awards. He will introduce viewers to each episode.
| Watch
for Voices of Vision's launch date
a little later this year on PBS. And, as soon as we know when
the National Cristina Foundation's segment will be aired, we
will put a bulletin on the In the Spotlight section of our magazine
and on our home page. |
