MetLife, Inc. Completes Large Donation to the National Cristina Foundation
Since May of 2009 MetLife, Inc. of New York City has made 113 donations to the National Cristina Foundation totally 12,963 items. These consisted of color as well as black and white laser printers, fax machines and copiers.
MetLife, Inc. is a leading provider of insurance and other financial services to millions of individual and institutional customers throughout the United States. The company is completing a nationwide IT plan to reduce the amount of paper generated as well as the number of office devices used for this purpose.
MetLife, in an effort to control costs, was able to capitalize on the nationwide network of local partner organizations known to the National Cristina Foundation, eliminating the need for shipping of any of the equipment. This type of successful large corporate donation is proof that NCF’s network is capable of placing large amounts of equipment that exist is diverse locations around the country.
