Cristina Network Logo

The new Cristina Network under development by the National Cristina Foundation is being designed to significantly increase the number of participating eligible partner organizations benefitting from technology reuse and greatly expand technology donation channels for potential donors.

Partner Organization Challenges:

Non-profit organizations and schools and other public agencies are faced with the need for expanded technology resources despite reduced budgets.  They frequently lack the necessary infrastructure to develop and maintain an effective and efficient ongoing program for technology reuse.

For Partners, the Cristina Network:

  • Promotes partners’ unique missions and services for viewing by potential donors of technology
  • Enables partners to update or change posted equipment needs through a single portal
  • Enables partners to access the NCF Donation Submission Form (DSF) for use on their own websites
  • Provides partners with access to the NCF donation tracking system and associated record keeping
  • Manages partner communication with donors from initial contact through completion of donation transaction
  • Enables partners to market their technology donation needs via links on their own websites or to websites of collaborating organizations

Donor Challenges:

Potential donors of previously used technology are challenged by the need to easily locate reliable reuse channels.  Donors do not presently have access to a pre-screened list of non-profit organizations and schools in their local communities that are in need of this equipment.

For Donors, the Cristina Network enables them to:
  • Learn how responsible reuse can benefit their community
  • Experience the ease of NCF’s automated donation process
  • Search for local NCF pre-approved partners via state, city or zip code
  • Learn about the missions and services of the identified NCF partners
  • Determine if their donation meets selected partner’s needs
  • Select the local partner of  their choice and complete the online Donor Submission Form (DSF)
  • Receive a donation acknowledgement letter for tax purposes
  • Take pride that their donation will make a significant impact on the lives of persons in need.
