The NCF Partner, Wilderness Technology Alliance (a company that helps students and volunteers get work-based learning experiences to give back to their community or school ) recently had a conference in Leavenworth, Washington. The conference, referred to as WildTech Summit, has a goal to "Learn and share best practices of student-run technology enterprises, Provide leadership skills to your next student CEO (one of the students the teacher should invite), Provide teaching skills to your next teacher’s aid (the other student the teacher should invite)." The summit was limited to 40 teachers and students, and all attendees received a free computer.
