The Dinwiddie School District in Southside Virginia has just won the Southside Virginia Regional Technology Consortium Award. The award was given for their advances in classroom technology integration. Through this same system, parents are able to view class assignments, children's grades, and interact with teachers. To further enhance learning, the school district has been working with teachers using workshops that focus on using technology for more hands-on projects and less lecturing.
