With summer fast approaching, many kids are headed to camp. For kids who have serious illnesses or life threatening conditions, camp may never be an option. Newman's Own, a charitable organization who has donated more than $200 million to charities has their own brand of camp. The "Hole in the Wall Camp" are designed for just such children and are free of charge. Independently run, individually funded, each camp is responsible for their own fund-raising, promotion and staff. Each camp has high quality medical care as well. To date, there are five camps in the U.S., one each in Ireland, the UK and France with more scheduled to open in the coming year.
