Can salt water be turned into energy?  John Kansas, working on a cure for cancer stumbled across the phenomenon while he was working on a test. He put salt water into a test tube and expected to get heat, he got fire instead.  Scientists he's approached have begun working on ways to harness the energy from the flame.  His question, "Maybe we could power a car?"
