1. How can an organization or school receive donated equipment from the National Cristina Foundation?
2. If I am an individual who has a disability or is economically disadvantaged, will the National Cristina Foundation provide a donated computer to me?
3. My organization/school/public agency is seeking monetary support. Does the National Cristina Foundation provide financial grants?
4. My organization needs computers to help our fundraising efforts and/or as a prize for our next event. Will the National Cristina Foundation help us?
5. My organization/school/public agency needs computers to help run our office administration. Will the National Cristina Foundation help us? 
6. My organization/school/public agency is seeking computers to distribute to families and individuals in our community.  Is that permissible?
7. Once my organization completes the on-line Grant Application, when will we learn if we have been accepted?

1. (Back to Top)How can an organization or school receive donated equipment from the National Cristina Foundation?

   To be added to our network of partner organizations, organizations with not-for-profit 501(c)(3) status, and public schools or public agencies need to submit an on-line Grant Application, which is available on line at https://www.cristina.org/oga.

2. (Back to Top)If I am an individual who has a disability or is economically disadvantaged, will the National Cristina Foundation provide a donated computer to me?

   Unfortunately, the National Cristina Foundation can only provide donated computers to registered nonprofit organizations, schools, and public agencies. It cannot donate equipment directly to individuals.  Please note: Although we do not provide equipment to individuals, partner organizations ARE permitted to distribute computer equipment to people to whom they provide services.

   No. The National Cristina Foundation provides donations of used computer equipment, but does not provide financial awards.

   No. The National Cristina Foundation targets technology donations to organizations that will be using the equipment for purposes related to training, job development, educational programs and other related projects that focus directly on improving the lives of people with disabilities, students at risk, and economically disadvantaged people.  We cannot donate equipment to your fundraising efforts.

   No. The National Cristina Foundation only donates computers to organizations that will be using the equipment to provide training, job development, educational programs and other related projects that focus directly on improving the lives of people with disabilities, students at risk, and economically disadvantaged people. We cannot donate equipment for your administrative use.

6. (Back to Top)My organization/school/public agency is seeking computers to distribute to families and individuals in our community.  Is that permissible?

   Yes. Although we do not provide equipment directly to individuals, our partner organizations ARE permitted to donate computer equipment to needy people who might otherwise not have home access to computers.

7. (Back to Top)Once my organization completes the on-line Grant Application, when will we learn if we have been accepted>

   All applications are carefully reviewed. It usually takes about a month for us to complete our initial review. We will communicate with you at the email address you entered at the time of your application. We may also contact you with additional questions based on the content of your application.
